I found out I was pregnant last summer, I already have two children. We had a small Hyundai Tucson, so my husband and I decided to trade it in and get a Hyundai palisade. We bought the palisade through Crowne Hyundai in St. Petersburg. Since then, the oil has been burning. I have brought it back three different times, finally now, after cleaning out an apparent carbon buildup, the oil is no longer was burning oil. But then, since they had to take everything out in order to clean the carbon, the temperature actuator went out, they told me that was not covered under warranty , so I had to pay for it out of pocket. Keep in mind the car has lost oil and been completely empty THREE times, in which the car has stalled out due to losing all oil within 1,000 miles of the last oil change each time. I picked up the car today, drove an hour home, and then, when I went to go pick my oldest son up from the bus stop, the fan started making a very loud noise when put up on full blast. it sounds like a boat motor. I keep telling them that I am sick of this car, there has been nothing but continuous issues. The car is a 2020, and is a certified preowned. I dont believe lemon laws apply this vehicle, unfortunately. I do have a warranty that extends out to 150,000 miles. but Im sick of bringing the car there once every two weeks and having to have a loaner, which is usually super small and not feasible for my size family. Does anyone have a lawyer they could refer me too, or has anyone ever dealt with something like this and how were you able to manage it? I feel stuck with a car that is now $35,000, and I can barely get it to work. I feel like they are just giving me the runaround until my extended warranty is up. The service manager had a technician come out to my home, which was an hour away to come and fix the blower motor problem. My complaint has never been with the service department. Anytime there was a problem they have fixed it, the problem is, the problems do not stop. when they thought they fixed the problem, something else kept happening or persisting. At the end of the day, although the car is no longer burning oil, it has gone on empty three different times no oil to the point that the car has stalled and the engine light came each time. They do not know the damage it has done, I was told that because theres also no way to tell of any other damage that has done to the car in general. My complaint is with Hyundai not replacing the motor/engine, and more importantly, selling me a car that was known to be a lemon. The problem is the sales team sold me a car knowing there were underlying issues, and they need to make it right. I make a post in a facebook group called I Love Saint Pete and I was called from Hyundai asking to take it down and when I said I would not but I will update it and day service was accommodating, although the issues continued to persist, the contacted an admin of the group and they had it removed. Although there were over 50 people with similar stories. They are trying to silence the people the knowingly have screwed over! If they make it right then I will back down but they are hurting me and my family.

Juan is an excellent service advisor and went above and beyond with the service he provided, giving me updates as soon as possible and working on the service bill with me. Not Juan's fault, but the dealership definitely needs to manage its technicians better or hire more - dropped my vehicle and it took 2 days before techs laid eyes on my vehicle

My check engine light came on one Saturday morning, and I begrudgingly visited the Service scheduling site. There was no way an appointment would be available same day! Lo and behold there was! Chris at Hyundai was my Service Advisor. He remembered who I was and the issue I had been having with my car before. This made it so easy! I was able to get it fixed, an oil change, AND my interior vacuumed. I have never been able to resolve a check engine light the day it came on. Insane. Way to go Chris and Crown Hyundai! :)

Lee's professionalism and personable approach went a long way in making the car buying process a positive experience. He made sure to explain all the different features of the SUV, shuttled me back and forth to drop off my SUV and after the purchase made sure I had no problems.
