| Summary: I first visited this dealership back in 2006. I had a new Toyota, put 5000 miles on it, and came to do the 5,000 service indicated in the manual. It was an oil change and a tire rotation. I was told that due to the upstate New York location the car is were considered and hazard service and there was more work that had to be done as part of the 5000 mi service. I did not see any value in the additives and additional work that they were proposing and ask them to just do the 5,000 mi service per the manual. This led to a few back and forth exchanges were they informed me that they would place a letter in my permanent file stating that I refused dealer recommended services. I asked them what ramifications such a letter had and they couldn't think of a single one. Needless to say, I did not go back there. 19 years later, I drove my mom's car and there was vibration when I pressed on the brake pedal. Does generally means that the surface of the rotors is rough. I let her know that and she took it to Lia Toyota for a break inspection. The dealership provided the tread depth measurements and the pad thicknesses and said that both the tires and the brakes were good. They then wanted $80 to take the car for a spin to help identify the issue. Thinking that this was strange I took the car to a private shop and asked them to pop the wheels off. There was visible corrosion of the rear rotors as soon as I took the wheels off. Replacing the rotors solved the problem. I already didn't trust this dealership but apparently I failed to underestimate them. |

I really like Brent, he was straight up and doesn't have the sneaky oil salesman persona that is often common with his occupation. If you want a Toyota definitely look for Brent. Great experience. |

| Summary: Kelly Pagano helped my husband and I with his car purchase and was really great throughout the process. Patient with our requests and he gave sound advice and information and we're happy with the car we ended up with.
Update: So, it had looked like everything was set and in order, but we just found some issues. The deposit wasn't applied to the cost, so his loan was more than needed. And they ran my husband's credit for multiple different bank loans when he specified which bank he wanted to go through - this hit his credit hard. Additionally, he had heated seats put in and immediately the button light was wonky. Within the week they stopped working entirely. Overall, not the greatest work from everyone encountered at Lia. The extra time, money and hassle are stressful and could have been avoided. |

| Summary: As always, Lia Toyota provided excellent service. I used the pickup and delivery service for this visit. I was kept informed of the progress of the work being done. I was treated very well, as usual. I will continue to use Lia Toyota service dept.
5/2023: another excellent service experience at Lia. Vanessa Ridley assisted me every step of the way, including the Uber transportation service. Thank you Vanessa, and the service team. I will continue to use the Lia service department!! |
