Summary: I have been coming to Porsche Riverside for many years, for service to my beloved Carrera S, and Henry, my service advisor, has always done an outstanding job, keeping my cars' service needs up to date. Recently, I decided to purchase a lease return certified 2024 Porsche Macan. My sales representative was Sherman Sims. Sherman is a very articulate and product knowledgeable Porsche ambassador and he did an awesome job of helping me purchase my Macan, in a most timely and easy fashion. Everyone at this dealership has gone beyond the call of duty, making sure that my needs are attended to, respectfully and rapidly. I commend Eric, the internet sales manager, and Andy, the finance manager, for their thoughtful and professional assistance during my purchase. I have been a Porsche customer for 50 years, and look forward to continuing my relationship with this awesome brand far into the future. Porsche exudes the claim, "THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE", and this dealership proves this claim to be true. |

Summary: 3 year maintainence due, where do I go? I go see Henry Quezada at Prosche Riverside. Henry is just plan great. Always ready for me, loaner car wiaint for me. He keeps me informed of the status of my 911.. There was a charge upon my return of the loaner car, I was charged for gas even though I filled it to the level when I received the car. Gave Henry a call about it, he got to the bottom of it and my charge disappeared. Each time I have been there I have had an outstanding experience. I have been invited to several events, all very enjoyable and fun. Porsche Riverside is the place to be. |

Summary: Beware beware of service department and service manager Dan Tow!
This service manager DAN TOW will do everything he can in order to NOT make a WARRANTY repair. I am utterly shocked at the consistently TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I have had at the Porsche Riverside service center. Specifically with the SERVICE MANAGER Dan Tow. I chose this service center specifically due their 4.8/5 online rating. Photo evidence of the entire experience is attached below.
I cannot believe how NEGATIVE this experience has been. I have now had to make FOUR SEPARATE 100 mile TRIPS in order to try and get this issue repair: Within 100 miles of purchasing this car with an original 20 miles on the dashboard an array of warning lights appears stating multiple malfunctions and failures such as:
A) protective occupant protection unavailable
B)
adaptive cruise control not available
C) assistance systems defective
D) active lane keeping not available and service required
I have had to make multiple trips where they supposedly repair these items and within a few days the notification lights come on. After the 2nd attempt I purchased a dummy belt buckle to try and get the seat belt notification to stop as after setting and unsetting a few times it would eventually stop. On the 3rd or 4th attempt for repair they then told me it was my causing due to the dummy belt buckle. Clearly this was the easy way out for them in order to not have to make repairs and not Despite it not being there on the first 2 repair attempts and the service advisor confirming that the was not the cause of the issue. I consistently tested and issue would still arise without the dummy buckled in. I repeatedly told them that and despite that they continue to try and blame it on that. Andre the service advisor corroborated what i stated as he himself witnessed the issue as I sent multiple videos and photos showing the issue arising on multiple different occasions. The issue once again has appeared and they have not made any attempt to repair. It is clear that this service center is doing everything they can to not make warranty repairs. It seems they are doing everything they can to avoid doing any type of warranty work as more than likely the revenue generated from that is not equivalent to their normal out of warranty repairs.
In ADDITION, after every single drop off, they would not look at the car until days later despite me mentioning speed of repair was significant to me. After having to make multiple trips due their incompetency with the repair, I would at bare minimum expect to be given priority but clearly the manager Dan did not care and gave minimal important to this issue.
This is utterly embarrassing, can't even drive the car as the seat belt blinker continuously makes noise despite me wearing the actual seat belt and my passengers can clearly notice it and have questioned how could a new car already be having issues.
I am still in disbelief that the type of TREATMENT and experience I was given by a brand a reputable as Porsche. I am completely disappointed at the utter disregard for these issues from upper management DAN at Porsche Riverside.
The only POSITIVE note I have is for the sales team, specifically Erick the manager, Sherman and service ADVISOR Andre. These guys were absolutely phenomenal to work with. After multiple experiences with brands like Mercedes, BMW and Maserati, they are by far the absolute best sales and customer service experience I have had to date. It is clear that is is because of these gentleman that this dealership is thriving. I will definitely refer every single interested party I know as these gentleman will surely get me positive feedback and rapport from anyone I send over. As for service, I will make sure to let everyone know to RUN THE OTHER WAY unless they are prepared to waste countless hours and experience terrible treatment.
This review has been posted and shared on every single major online review platform I could find, submitted to Porsche North America, and in addition, submitted to consumer investigation department at ABC 7 LA, KVCR, and Riverside county TV in order to try and bring more awareness to this issue and ensure that another consumer may never have to endure this experience again. |

Summary: It's fairly obvious the majority of reviews for Riverside Porsche are glowing accounts of extremely happy customer experiences. Unfortunately mine is not one of them. Let me add, my intention is to inform, not to suggest buying, or servicing elsewhere. This review is only about service, but the sales experience, was also disappointing....... So what happened? No matter when you set up a service appointment - you will be told the shop is 2 days behind - I set mine 2 weeks ahead and on a Monday following Thanksgiving to be "first in line" but 2 days it is. It's important to know my service was only a recall on a brake line and asked to check the charging on my Taycan. On Wednesday I'm told the car is not ready and likely will not be done until Friday. I contacted Dan Tow the service manager and he was polite, but his explanation of his shop's continuous 2 day backlog given the circumstances made any sense- nevermind 4 days. Having some knowledge of the business, this nonsense of 2 day backlog is a "get out of jail card" and more about deciding then scheduling. Look, it's reasonable to expect Porsche service to be expensive, the facility to be modern, the staff to be professional, but ultimately credibility, is what all 5 star service facility share. Riverside Porsche looks the part, but needs to act that way. |

Summary: Just wanted to give a shout out to Service Manager Dan Tow and Service Advisor Henry Quezada for their First Class service. When the service industry as a whole seems to care less about their customers these days, Dan and Henry are the exception. They work hard, communicate well, are true professionals and easy to work with. After a recent negative experience at Porsche Riverside (by the way, which is also rare), working with Dan and Henry convinced me to give the dealership another chance. I just took home my third Porsche and will no doubt be back for more. Thank you Dan and Henry for going above and beyond! |
