Title: N/A Posted On: 8/3/23 Review For: Sean Davisson Rating: ![]() |
Summary: Took my car in for a diagnostic check and was given the reason for the problem and estimate. I paid it but when I got the car back the key kept getting stuck when shutting the car off, this was never an issue before the $1800 work was completed on the wheel lock. JR called to tell me they need another $1800 for the EIS but no one detected that with this complete diagnostic check they raved about. I no longer have faith and trust these mechanics. I believe they went off of another diagnostic from another dealer on my car instead of performing their own. And my leather was completely worn off of the chair from the workers negligence in failing to completely cover my seat and floor before performing work. There was no apology for that damage they totally ignored it. Tyler the Service director said he would talk to his owners and get back to me... we'll see if he actually does. I was totally taken advantage of by this dealership. I immediately asked to speak with a service director because something wasn't adding up. Tyler Usary was a complete BS artist, the director. When you're from Philly you can spot them a mile away. His fancy talking didn't impress me at all it annoyed me more. Fix what you broke and own up to it! Someone dropped the ball at Walter's and no one wanted to own up to it instead thought they would swindle me for another $1800. I drove 1.5 hours to this dealer and wrote a very nice review with the initial diagnosis. I truly believed in this dealer when they diagnosed my car the first time. Boy was I so wrong. I asked to speak with Sean Davisson GM to discuss my dissatisfaction and find out what happened but was told he was fired. I don't know how true this was but Tyler did rush me out of the dealer. At first he didn't want to speak with me telling JR to tell me he was in a meeting for the next hour. Well, I chose to wait because the day before I did send JR a text message explaining I wanted to talk to the GM and or service director in person when I refused their work via text - I was ignored. I would not recommend anyone to come here. I don't feel I was treated fairly.
UPDATE! Since, car has been fixed "No Money" and NOT by Walter's, I got nothing from them. My car had to be manually put in neutral meaning gear switch had to be taken apart. It was never properly secured when put back. Car thought it was in reverse not park - problem solved. So WHAT Diagnosis was Tyler trying to show me?! Exactly my point! ALL BS. My advice STAY AWAY SERVICE SCAM they are not diagnosing cars properly or at all save your coins and thank me later. Oh and Tyler did call to offer me 15% of the cost to repair my seat, I hung up so fast. You will not insult me Sir, I'll eat the cost but I'll never recommend anyone take there car to your service dept and I certainly will not be back - One & Done. |

Title: N/A Posted On: 7/21/23 Review For: Sean Davisson Rating: ![]() |
Summary: This dealership is one of the most unprofessional theft dealerships I ever came across.
Dealt with a sales rep name, Omar
He had confirmed there was a white panda G63 available, on a phone call conversation and they wanted $20k over sticker.
I told them I'm seeing offers from dealerships $15k over for that same type of car are they willing to budget for $15k i will make the trip to purchase a vehicle.
We came on an agreement, and I drove through the dealership upon driving there. I was doing credit applications.
I mentioned to him I want to do this just under my business name he said that is fine when I got there that was not the case, he mentioning you have to make 7 million a year to qualify for only business name.
Long story short,
They use my personal name in which they tried not to qualify me then I use another family's name and they came back and told me I was approved for a limited amount.
Anyhow, I was approved for limited amount of the loan and my down payment from the beginning was 25K down.
Omar mentioend to $25K was not enough and the financial department denied.
Keep in mind he's working with his sales manager named Mark, which is also giving a Lotta runarounds and falls information.
I drove to the dealership two different times and for some reason I felt they did not wanna sell me this vehicle one day I had another offer and they were trying to do anything possible to back down on this deal.
Omar mentioned on the first visit the financial department is closed.
Let's wait till tomorrow to make a decision and we will submit your offer with the 40K down. I had mentioned to him if you submitted with 40K down and tomorrow the financial department denies that offer.
I will be willing to put more down payment to purchase this vehicle.
He said ok no problem....
Next day, I was supposed to get a call from Omar to advise me what happen with the financial department while we're in the transaction of purchasing this vehicle and many credits have been run at this time.
I finally gave them a call and asking omar,
Whats the status he said oh yeah sorry they denied with 4ok down..
I think the bank wants $60k down i said
Ok lets do it, im willing to do $60K down, he said I would love to, but unfortunately, the vehicle also has been sold.
How are you selling the vehicle when I'm in the middle of a transaction on this vehicle I have submitted an offer and we're waiting for a bank decision and I was advised to wait till tomorrow morning.
I had Advised if 40k was not enough down and it gets denied. I will be willing to put more to get this qualification. No matter how high of a down payment they were asking for they saw it. I was not giving up, and I was willing to go above and beyond to make this happen.
I was expecting to get a phone call from Omar, next day mentioning your application got denied with $40,000 down are you willing to put $60k for this vehicle?
If not we have another buyer.
They were running another application while doing my transaction, and they sold his vehicle with a higher mark up to another person.
Which is totally illegal,
To be in the middle of a sales transaction with a person on the Vin number at the same time so that vehicle to another person.
when I have not given up, and I have mentioned, I will do whatever it takes to make this happen.
bottom line I knew from the beginning they had another buyer with a higher markup they were doing anything they can to wash me off their hands.
Two weeks later I buy the same vehicle from a different dealership same MSRP with my name and the other families name and get qualified for a lot less asking down. This tells me a lot about the scam dealership.
The new dealership even mention to me, you guys qualify for a higher loan amount, but WalterMercedes had made this financial very difficult for you guys to be approved for more.
Couple of days later I get an email from the manager name Sean Davisson,
Thank your for giving us an opportunity to assist you.
I am checking in to make sure we provided you the information you requested in a timely manner. Please let me know how we are doing and if I can personally be of any assistance don't hesitate to call or email.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I had emailed him how unhappy I am exact message expressing my feelings he did not even bother to reply.
Omar, sale manager Mark and Sean Davisson are all unprofessional people that work at the dealership and they do not care of a customer service.
This matter will be escalated.
Bottom line, my recommendation stay away from this dealership there is better Mercedes dealerships out there, who are willing to go above and beyond and make a great transaction for you without lying and scamming you to sell the vehicle at the same time to somebody else. |

Title: Buyer Beware Posted On: 2/15/23 Review For: Sean Davisson Rating: ![]() |
Summary: Terrible customer service and unprofessional business practices. Im not sure how they have such high ratings, although sifting through a few, many of them do not read as legitimate reviews. I test drove a 2016 AMG GT with Carlos. He was kind enough to stay past closing to show me the car. However, the entire process went downhill when I started asking questions. I smelled a slight cigarette smell and Carlos and his manager denied smelling anything. Sure enough when I looked at the cigarette lighter, it had been used heavily. They did not disclose the previous owner was a smoker. I then asked for the multi-inspection report before I proceeded. Carlos said he would get it to me the next day. The following day no follow-up from Carlos, but a follow-up email from Sean Davisson, the GM, asking why I didnt purchase the car that night. I replied I didnt receive the report I requested. Shortly after Carlos emails me saying the car is fine but did not attach any report. I followed-up with a request via email and text to send me the report. Its been three days and I have heard nothing. I wrote to their manager Jeff Helton, explaining the poor service and have not received response from him either. BUYER BEWARE - they clearly are not providing the report for a reason. Its customary to review inspection reports when buying pre-owned vehicles. Terrible customer service and dishonest business practices. The fact that Carlos was trying to sell me on other Mercedes models, saying their managers trying to move stock, leads me to believe they arent doing so well. There are so many wonderful Mercedes dealerships in SoCal. Take your business elsewhere! |

Title: The sales experience was good. However, Posted On: 2/15/23 Review For: Sean Davisson Rating: ![]() |
Summary: The sales experience was good. However, all service went downhill after the sale of the vehicle was completed. Brand new vehicle was a problem 5 days after it was driven off the lot. The service and attention on this matter from Service Manager Mark all the way up to General Manager Sean was a true disappointment. Vehicle was in the shop for weeks at a time with no call/communication from the dealer on a follow-up or update. Some emails went ignored and unanswered. The staff was deceiving when we were informed certain repairs had been made when in reality had not. We asked General manager Sean to put us in touch with someone superior to him to address the concern and were refused that right. Its unfortunate how the level of service after vehicle was purchased changed drastically.
Sean, Im not sure who youre referring to in your response. Your response is a perfect example and goes to prove my point. The urgency and importance you and your staff gave us as a customer was so minimal that youve already forgotten about our experience. Our vehicle was at your dealer for several weeks at a time. I have the paperwork from your dealer to prove it.
You and I indeed did speak. We communicated via email as well; you responded to ONE email. I have that proof as well.
We clearly asked to speak to someone above you a few times and as I previously stated were denied that right. And for that reason, my review stands. |
