| Summary: Vincent Marrale did an excellent job of keeping me informed of the status of the service being done a week ago on my 2013 Civic. When the work was completed, I asked him about other work that might be needed in the near future -- such as timing belt replacement -- now that my Honda has gone over 100,000 miles. Vincent immediately said he thought my Civic had a timing chain, not a belt, and that replacement was normally not needed within the life of the vehicle. He quickly looked this up and verified that replacement should not be needed as long as engine lubrication was regularly changed and was able to keep the chain in good condition. I very much appreciated his familiarity with the details of my car and his ability to advise me accordingly. |
