Summary:
We were greeted by Charisma, and told her that while driving home on the highway we hit a dip on the road. We lost the right front object sensor, causing the car alarm to go off every time we placed our foot on the brakes while driving. She was warm and friendly and offered us a coffee or a soda, while we took a seat. She told us she would contact her service advisor and estimator to give us a diagnosis. Mr Vinny Barbosa appeared within two minutes (no exaggeration), introduced himself with a smile and radiating warmth . He quickly reviewed our problem and asked us to step outside to assess the damage to the car. He saw the hole, where the sensor detector had been, dropped down on his hands and knees, and then lied down on his back and examined the front fender to assess the damage. He then proceeded to open the car door and pop open the hood. He found the line of the sensor detector and guided it through the radiator to the primal hole where the sensor originally was placed. He did all the above in a matter of minutes , I asked him how much we owed him, he said that we owed nothing there was no damage to the car body. At this point moment I promise that I will keep you, and Vinny Barbosa in mind if I need collision assistance in the future. Thank you for your wonderful service and obviously, your professional well-trained staff. Thom Kandell

I took my car into Crown collision and fortunately I was assigned to work with Johnny Popwell. My claim took almost 3 months to finally get settled mate State Farm but Johnny kept me updated from day one, making sure I was kept up on every phase of the project and personally showed me the work that was done when I went to pick it up several weeks later. Crown Collision is truly blessed to have a guy like Johnny Popwell on their team, as was I.

I recently took my 2018 Kia Optima SXL to Crown Collision in St. Petersburg, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Being the SXL trim, I was particularly worried about the paint match and the specialized sensors, but the team here handled everything with total precision. If you care about your car and want it restored to factory standards, this is the spot in St. Pete. Massive thanks to the crew for making a stressful situation much easier! Big shout out to Tony Hailey and the Crown collsion teams for being such a big help with my car!!!

Summary:
Im hoping someone from management at Crown Collision in St. Petersburg will see this and help resolve what has been a very frustrating experience. My car has been at the shop since late January, and during that time I have been given five different projected completion dates. All of them have been missed. Communication has been the biggest issue. The service advisor assigned to my repair, Vinny, has not once called me proactively during the seven weeks my car has been there. I have repeatedly had to call the shop just to try to get updates, and at one point I had to drive there in person because I could not get a response. When I have received updates, they have often been inconsistent or contradictory. Over the past month I have been told different things about whether the parts had arrived, whether the car had already been painted, and whether it was currently being reassembled and recalibrated. It has been very difficult to get a clear and reliable explanation of the actual status of the repair. Even my insurance adjuster has had difficulty getting basic status information from the shop. I completely understand that delays can happen with collision repairs. However, seven weeks with multiple missed completion dates and very limited communication is not what I expected. At this point, I would really appreciate someone from management contacting me directly to clarify the status of my vehicle and provide a realistic timeline for completion.
