| Summary: This was my first experience with Porsche Riverside and since I live in another state I wasnt sure about how this transaction would work to avoid the California sales tax. Rob Owen was very helpful in sending videos as well as providing financial information and arranging for my documents to be overnighted as well as the shipping of my CPO Macan to Oregon. Also thanks to Emily, Katie and General Sales Manager Jeffery Hudson for the communication. Buying a vehicle is stressful enough in person and more so long distance so the assistance in getting this purchase done really helped. |

| Summary: THEY DO THE RIGHT THING AND STAND BEHIND THEIR CARS. Unfortunately, I had a very unusual negative matter occur in connection with a car I purchased, and their leadership and team, came through. They dealt with it, communicated very effectively and timely, absorbed the facts, took accountability, and resolved the matter in a fair and equitable way. I am excited with my new Porsche Taycan, and no doubt highly recommend Porsche of Riverside, and would go back their again to purchase my next Porsche. Thank you Jeff (GM), Eric, Taylor, Alexis and Carlos! You guys are a great team and I greatly appreciate all your professionalism. |

Title: If I could give negative stars, I would Posted On: 9/11/25 Review For: Jeffery Hudson Rating:
|
| Summary: If I could give negative stars, I would. My experience with Porsche Riverside was unprofessional from start to finish. I was actively working to trade in my car for a Cayman and dealing with Rob Owen, one of their sales agents, as well as Jeff Hudson, the general sales manager, and Jeremy, the sales manager. Communication was poor from the beginning. Rob was slow to respond despite multiple calls and messages. Rob explicitly offered me the night to confirm my decision, and I followed through by emailing that same night to move forward. I went out of my way to get an in-person CARFAX appraisal, started the process of selling my current car, and emailed Rob and Jeff that I was ready. On the day I planned to finalize things, I texted Rob and Jeremy before 10:00 am, and at 10:01 am Rob confirmed in writing that he would put everything together for me. By 2:41 pm the same day, I was told the car had been sold.
This behavior is reckless and completely unprofessional. I nearly finalized the sale of my current car and could have been left stranded without a vehicle. To make matters worse, they stopped picking up my calls and ignored my texts afterward. A dealership that treats customers this way does not deserve your trust or your business. Avoid Rob Owen by all means, and think twice before working with Porsche Riverside if you value honesty and basic professionalism. |

Title: I purchased the new 2025 Macan 4 Electr Posted On: 8/28/25 Review For: Jeffery Hudson Rating:
|
| Summary: I purchased the new 2025 Macan 4 Electric from Porsche Riverside last night, assisted by Javier Parada. While the buying experience with Javier itself was good, Im deeply concerned about the condition of the vehicle upon delivery.
Due to limited lighting at dusk, I couldnt inspect the car thoroughly the way I would like at the dealership. I did point out a couple of easy-to-spot issues to Javier, which were documented in the Due Bill. However, once I got home and closely examined the car further, I discovered additional issues I could not have seen at the store. For example, I saw scratches on an air vent, dirt/oily residue throughout, cobwebs throughout the exterior, and two missing valve caps on the front driver's- and passenger's-side tires. Overall, the vehicle hadnt been detailed properly.
The most serious issue is a dent on the leather-wrapped trim of the drivers door and a persistent vibrating noise from the front passenger door panel, even when no audio is playing.
The car had over 160 miles on it at delivery, which in hindsight should have raised a red flag. I also felt pressured to complete the purchase that night because I was told I would not be able to take advantage of the deal being offered if I waited. Taken together, these issues make the vehicle feel more like a lightly used demo or loaner vehicle than a brand-new Porsche like I was told. For a brand that prides itself on precision and quality, this experience has been disappointing and has left me feeling remorseful about my purchase.
I reached out to Jon Kienle (GM), Jeffery Hudson (GSM), and Javier via email early this morning to address these concerns, but I have yet to receive a response.
At this time, I cannot recommend Porsche Riverside based on my experience. However, I remain hopeful that the dealership will take appropriate steps to resolve these issues, and I will gladly update this review if a positive outcome is reached.
UPDATE (8/18):
My experience with Porsche Riverside has continued to be disappointing. Despite General Manager Jon Kienle's public promise, General Sales Manager Jeff Hudson never contacted me.
The service center, after I brought up my concerns to my salesperson Javier, was scheduled to address the damages to my vehicle. I dropped it off on Thursday, August 7th, and was told it would take a few days. The service advisor, Omar, was a bright spot in this process. He was kind, professional and provided daily updates, even sending me photos of the repairs on the pillars, which looked good.
On Friday, August 15th, I returned to pick up my vehicle and was very disappointed. While some blemishes had been addressed, new scuff marks and scratches were present. The driver's side pillar, which looked good in the photos Omar sent, has scuff marks again, suggesting carelessness after the repair. There's also a new hole and scratches behind the driver's seat.
When I pointed this out, Javier dismissed my concerns, claiming I was raising new issuesI reminded him that the car was with them for a week. He and the sales manager, Eric Lafever, then confronted me about my Google review. They accused me of making false statements, like speaking negatively about Javiera claim I found baffling since my original review explicitly stated my buying experience with him was good. Eric also seemed to focus on the vehicle's mileage, completely missing the point that my primary concern was the visible damage. What's more, I've barely driven the car since taking delivery, keeping its mileage at only 313 miles (as of today) to avoid adding to the issue while we tried to resolve things. The argument was uncomfortable and unproductive.
Eventually, Eric presented three options: a trade, a buy-back, or keeping the vehicle. I chose the buy-back, but was later told the dealership would not proceed, claiming I'd be "upside down" by roughly $10,000. As a long-time Porsche owner, this level of customer service is a massive letdown and completely out of sync with the brand's reputation. This entire experience has been truly disheartening. |

Title: My recent experience purchasing a new 2025 Macan 4 Posted On: 8/26/25 Review For: Jeffery Hudson Rating:
|
| Summary: My recent experience purchasing a new 2025 Macan 4 Electric from Porsche Riverside has been extremely disappointing, particularly regarding the condition of the vehicle at delivery and the subsequent service I received.
The buying experience with our salesperson, Javier Parada, was generally good. However, the condition of the vehicle was concerning. Due to limited lighting at the dealership, I was unable to thoroughly inspect the car. After I got home, I discovered numerous issues, including a dent on the driver's door trim, a persistent vibrating noise from the passenger door panel, scratches on an air vent, and missing valve caps on the front driver's- and passenger's-side tires. The car also had over 162 miles on the odometer at delivery, which in retrospect, should have been a red flag and made the vehicle feel more like a lightly used demo.
The most frustrating part of this experience has been the dealership's lack of a satisfactory response. I reached out to General Manager Jon Kienle, General Sales Manager Jeffery Hudson, and my salesperson Javier via email and never received a response. After noticing my Google Review for the dealership, General Manager Jon Kienle responded back to my review and agreed that my vehicle should have been pristine and that all the issues were unacceptable for a new vehicle delivery. He wanted to assure me that they would take my concerns very seriously and that General Sales Manager Jeff Hudson has my contact information and that he would be reaching out to me to personally make things rightJeff Hudson never reached out to me.
When I brought the car in for service to address the damages, the process was initially promising. Service advisor Omar was a bright spothe was professional, provided daily updates, and sent photos of the repairs. However, when I returned to pick up the vehicle, new scuff marks and scratches were present, suggesting carelessness after the repairs.
When I pointed out the new damage, my salesperson and a sales manager, Eric Lafever, were confrontational and dismissive of my concerns. They accused me of making false statements in my Google review and seemed to miss the point of my complaint, focusing on the car's mileage rather than the visible damage. This argument was uncomfortable and unproductive.
Eventually, Eric presented three options: a trade, a buy-back, or for me to keep the vehicle. I chose the buy-back, but the dealership later refused, stating I would be "upside down" by roughly $10,000.
This entire experience has been a massive letdown. As a long-time Porsche owner, I am shocked by this level of customer service. I cannot recommend Porsche Riverside. The lack of accountability, combined with the poor condition of the vehicle and the negative service experience, has left me feeling completely disheartened. |
