| Summary: Im very disappointed in my used car buying attempt at Crown. They have a 2008 Maximo on their used car list which is plainly listed and displayed as being under their Crown Confidence Plan as certified and warranted. When I asked them about the plan they said that this car didnt qualify because its older than 10 years old even though they are advertising it this way. I inspected the car and noticed some oil on the passenger side of the engine and asked Jacob (used car salesman and finance manager) about it, and he didnt have an answer about the leak. I asked if the car had the 101-point inspection that is advertised, and he said yes but couldnt produce the report because it wasnt complete. After quizzing Jacob further, he contacted his used car manager, Sam, and informed me numerous times that Sam is a pastor, and Jacob also called the technician that inspected the car (when I met with Sam he also made sure to tell me that he is a pastor). After Jacob spoke with them, he informed me that the leak was nothing to worry about and that leaks in this year of a Maxima are actually a good thing, yes, he actually said oil leaks in an engine are a good thing, he actually said that out loud! I was hoping that the oil leak was just a valve cover gasket, or someone spilled some oil because I couldn't visually see where it was coming from without removing the shield on top. After all this I knew that I couldnt trust them to tell me the truth, so I took it to my mechanic to have it looked at. So, I spent all day and $130 on an inspection to find out that the timing chain housing is leaking, which is a $1,400 repair which should have been disclosed about the car if they had done the 101-point inspection that they claimed they did. If you end up with the 2008 Maxima dont worry about the oil leak, it has been blessed by pastor Sam, maybe Sam can even anoint you with some of the leaking engine oil. |

| Summary: We've been looking for a second vehicle for about a year and a half. We saw a vehicle on the website that we ultimately didn't want, but that put us in touch with Chase Perry. We found another vehicle there we were interested in and Chase made the entire process a dream. We stayed in contact, the vehicle was ready when we arrived and he answered all our questions. Chase is extremely personable without being pushy and was just a blessing to deal with. He has even been in contact after the sale and we are so glad Chase Perry is our car guy! |
