No stars. My 2017 Jaguar F Pace had an engine failure, overheating. I had the vehicle towed there for diagnostics. They stated that to provide the warranty company info needed they had to take the engine apart to the point of failure. I was advised this would cost around $3k and gave permission. Diagnostics came back and the dealership filed a claim that I needed a new $21K engine. The claim was denied and after several appeals I resolved that this was the end of the road. They stated they needed the vehicle off the lot, so I paid a service bill for $2K and had the car towed to a local non-dealer mechanic thinking it didn't even run. Upon reviews, the local mechanic confirmed that the engine was NEVER taken apart, not a bolt was turned and that there is no way I should have been charged $2K. Further the car fired right up and he was able to move it across his parking lot. I went back and really looked at the invoice in detail and called them back 12/31 today. After the fact they told me they decided to video scope engine for the insurance claim. 6 hours of labor only, no parts, $2k because it saved money. I called the warranty company, and they refused to provide the pictures and video that was submitted by the dealership. I called the dealership and they "conveniently" have no pictures or video taken on file and so no one has proof of work done. Everyone is washing their hands of it. No engine, no fix, no pictures, no video, no claim approval. I called this morning to speak to the service tech Emerias and he all but put me on hold for 45 mins and said that his Service Manager was too busy to talk to me. Just take my money, mislead me on the teardown of the engine on the claim, then insult me by ghosting the call and hanging up. NOT what I would expect from a Jaguar dealership. On top of that without a vehicle for 2 months I asked many times if a Sales rep was interested in selling me a car. They didn't care enough so I literally bought a 2026 Infiniti this weekend. Since they must be making so much money and don't even need to sell new cars either, they can refund my $2K At this point everything was misrepresented. I just want a refund. I figure this is the only way when people publicly hold people accountable. If this doesn't work maybe more BBB and AG complaints are in order. Make it right! Way below expectations for a luxury brand. In reply to the Service Manager Chad Hauser, neither you nor your tech listen. First off, let me say this. Are you the service manager that was on duty while I was on hold 15 mins? Then your tech went to get a supervisor and when he came back, said the manager was busy and didn't have time to speak to me? Then continued to place on me on hold for another 30 mins until I had to hang up. Is that you? Do all your service managers hide behind keyboards? Bc im fairly certain you all can get my number from Eremias your tech or my service ticket. Second I never stated I purchased the vehicle from your dealership but that I chose (over Jaguar Tampa, Jaguar Clearwater) to bring my Jaguar to your service department. Are you or are you all NOT representatives of the Jaguar brand? I fully understand that the warranty claim was denied, the entire reason I called 12/31 was I had asked for pictures of the engine part of failure so I can show another mechanic. This is actually what was supposed to happen for the warranty claim . When I called your service dept. stated you HAD NO PICS, NO VIDEO. nothing was proven that work was actually done and I have nothing I can show another mechanic, nor do I have anything I can go after the Warranty company with for denying the claim. This brings up more red flags. Thats what started all of this. Then I was told after the fact that you all decided to "scope" the engine with a video camera. I never was told that and when I received the bill it was for 6 hours of labor only to run a tiny camera through the engine. This is all news to me and surely sounds like a maj

So you all claim the vehicle needs a new engine however when it really just sounds like you wanted to file a $21K claim. Obviously the warranty company is MOST DEFINATELY going to find a reason not to pay. Another mechanic not only had to tell me that engine was never taken apart but that it DOES NOT need an entire new engine. Again to re-iterate you all dont even have pics or video of the part or engine taken apart in question on a $21K claim? You have no support the work was done, Specfically work I did not know about? You have no documentation in a luxury service department? You all can keep making this public or refund me that bogus bill you gave me that I never authorized and was a total shortcut and likely even cost me the denial of the claim itself. You have my cell phone in your files because you already know what vehicle this review is on.

Title: I had an enjoyable day dealing with Crown Jaguar and Land

Summary:
I had an enjoyable day dealing with Crown Jaguar and Land Rover of St Petersburg. I am a hard working man going through some tough times. Recently my car started breaking down and draining my little bit of savings. The last was the transmission and my mechanic told me that my car was not worth the cost to repair. So, I was stuck pedaling back and forth to work, hoping that I did not have another heart attack. The people that I work with reached out to to Crown who is one of are sponsors and explained the situation I was in and asked if they could help in anyway? Mr Myers said that they had a 2018 Kia Forte LX that was just traded in and he was going to have his people check it out to make sure that it was a good car. Mr Myers called back and said that the car is in good shape and that he would let me have it for $5000 plus closing costs not more than $6000. I did not have $6000 dollars, but the people that I work with did a donation drive to help me reach what I needed. Mr Myers was not able to meet with me because he was in a meeting, but he had Talas Rogers meet with me. Talas met with me and offered me some drinks and snacks that they had at the dealership. We then went outside to see the car and Talas asked me if I wanted to take the car for a test drive? I said no, I was just so happy that I was getting so much help to to be able to drive back and forth to work again. Talas took me to Steve Sinclair to fill out the paperwork. I spent most of my time there with Steve who helped me fill out the paperwork and explained everything to me. Steve also helped me with changing over my insurance and tags. When the final paperwork was to be signed, I seen that the total amount was $6300. Steve seen the frighten look on my face and said to me dont worry about the price, Mr Myers said that he will write a check for anything over the $6000 that he said would be the most that I would have to pay. When I was finished with the paperwork with Steve, he had me finish with the financial department. While I was finishing up the paperwork, Steve took my tag and installed it on my new car and filled the car with gas. Steve told me that if I needed anything else to let him know. Thank you all for what you have done for me. What a joy to deal with Crown.
