| Summary: I feel that my son was completely taken advantage of. He brought his car in because the battery kept dying, and he wanted the battery inspected. He was charged $188 for the inspection. However, the service team told him they could not properly inspect the issue without first replacing the battery which cost $390.
After charging an additional $170 for labor to install the new battery, they completed the inspection and confirmed that the only issue was, in fact, the battery itself. The total cost came to $750.
Its unreasonable that he was charged $170 for installation and that the $188 inspection fee was not applied toward the total cost. This is extremely disappointing. The idea of paying $750 to ultimately replace a battery is ridiculous! |
