I came in for a scheduled inspection and was disappointed by the money grab to pass inspection. The tech did a great job using measurement tools to check tire tread and remaining and front/back break remaining. Both tires and breaks passed. The tech mentioned dirty cabin/engine air filters but these have nothing to do with inspection so they were suggested replacements. My issue is with front and back windshield wipers. Neither were torn and all 3 were intact edge to edge. Tech mentioned a squicky noise when using. He used the wipers on a dry salt crusted windshield. The service advisor insisted I would fail the inspection if I didn't pay for replacing all wiper blades. I had to get the manager involved. He wiped the blades with a cloth. Tested the blades and he said blades look good. If I didn't get the manager involved, I would be out $75 for nothing. Be knowledgeable about your car and what you're told. According to the NYS Motor Vehicle Inspection Regulations (CR-79): Wipers must be present in the correct number for the vehicle. Legal Information Institute They must operate properly i.e., function and move freely. Legal Information Institute Wiper blades must be in acceptable physical condition. A vehicle can be failed if the blade rubber is torn, badly worn, dead, or if material other than the rubber wiper blade is contacting the windshield. Legal Information Institute What About Squeaky Wipers? Noise alone (like squeaking or squealing) is not listed as a reason to reject a car under the official regulations. Legal Information Institute So if the blades are intact and operate normally even if noisy that by itself should not fail the inspection.

My boyfriend and i recently went to look for a used toyota Camry, we were dealing with some issues with the insurance and financing but was able to figure it out all thanks to Jennifer, she went above and beyond to get us a great deal without feeling rushed or pressured. We are so happy to have walked away with our Camry and a great experience.

Title: Just another dealer that will post fake

Summary:
Just another dealer that will post fake ads and lie to you about availability just to get you to come to their dealership. I saw a car online that they supposedly had, and entered my info to find out if it was still available. Then I got an email from Sarah McKay saying, "Great newsthe vehicle you're looking at is currently available in our inventory." Blah, blah, Blah. But when I talk to a girl named Jaylen at the dealership, she tells me that car was sold... probably in November. It's February 3rd!!! When I call to speak with Sarah McKay, the person who answers doesn't tell me the truth and instead makes me think I'm being forwarded to Sarah McKay. But no! I'm forwarded to Jaylen, who tells me Sarah McKay is "the automated system" and apparently not even a real person. So let's summarize: 1 - This dealer has an ad posted for a car that hasn't been available for months. 2 - This dealer sent me an email claiming to be from a fictional employee. 3 - This dealer sent me an email telling me the car is there and available, when it is neither. 4 - This dealer kept the lie going by not immediately telling me when I called and asked for Sarah McKay that the person does not exist. Why would anyone want to deal with such unethical behavior? There are PLENTY of other cars and dealers out there.
