Been going back the past month or so for various services/repairs. Generally pretty happy with the level of attention and quality of work. One suggestion for improvement: please return calls. I've worked with 2-3 advisors by now and it is really irritating that I do not hear back for days or at all when I leave a message with a question or concern, and they are all like that. I appreciate how they are busy, but make a point returning customer's calls. And if the service department is under-staffed, then the dealership needs to address it.
This review is long overdue.
Bought a used 2019 Grand Cherokee Laredo in late Feb 2023.
I cannot say I enjoyed the purchase process. Without naming names, when the sales person tried to sell me extended warranty, he was quite insulting by essentially saying that those who purchase warranty are better people. REALLY? When I expressed concerns about a deep cut on one of the tires, he brushed it off and insisted that it would be safe. I needed a vehicle quickly, so went ahead with the purchase. The vehicle was one owner and well maintained, so I think I just got fairly lucky with it.
When I brought the vehicle in shortly after to get a loose side panel fixed at Crown Afla Romeo, an affiliated dealership next door, I brought up the concern over the tire with Matt Cogdill. Matt shared the safety concern, talked to the sales manager at Crown Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and got the tire replaced. I really appreciated the honesty and integrity, and could not help but notice the sharp contrast between the used car sales person and Matt. I understand the desire to sell a used car at the highest possible price, but the customer's safety should NEVER be compromised.
I was happy to see Matt when I brought the vehicle in for 90K-mile service. Matt apparently has moved over from Crown Alfo Romeo. Guess who I will be scheduling my future maintenance with? Matt.
so, 5 stars to Matt, and 2 to the used car sales person, rounding up to 4 overall. |
