Summary: Purchased a car from this dealership in May and only drove 1,400 miles since. Front driver tire had a bulge so I called and asked about the warranty. Before making the car purchase, I was told that the front tires were replaced in February and had warranty. However, just last week, I was told by the service department of this same dealership that the front tires were NOT replaced, but only mounted and balanced. Through many phone calls, eventually, I still had to pay out of pocket to replace the front tire that I was told to have warranty.
Worst of all, at the time of purchase, I was told that the front tires were measured at 9/32" and the rear tires were at 7/32" of tread. But after only 1,400 miles, the mechanics who inspected my tires said the fronts were 9/32", BUT the rears were at 4/32" of tread with even wear across all tires. Most importantly, they said the rear tires couldn't have been at 7/32" to begin with. Especially having been only driven for 1,400 miles. The mechanics said since the car is an AWD, the large difference in tread between the front and rear tires can potentially cause the drivetrain and transmission failure. Combined with the fact that the rear tires are Continental while the front tires are Goodyear, which have different tread patterns can also lead to drivetrain and transmission failure. |

Summary: I recently needed repairs on my 2014 C300. Tyler coordinated a service date that worked well for me and had a loaner vehicle available. He also worked with my availability for vehicle pick up and return of the loaner.
I LOVE the videos the techs send when they are evaluating my car. This time they found an unexpected issue and guided me on whether it was an urgent repair or not.
Just all around good experience abd when repairs are complete I never worry if they were done right. |

Summary: my new car was less than one year old. Needed differential repair. Seth the head of service there refused to honor the warranty and wanted me to pay over $10,000 to repair, Had the audacity and arrogance to suggest my new car I purchased from their dealership, which was never out of my possession and had zero sign of any water damage, had been substantially submerged. What a bold face lie. Took my Car to Germain and found out there was a MB issued service bulletin on the known issue and they (Germain) repaired and honored the warranty. Deal with Crown Mercedes of Dublin and Seth/Service at your own risk. Complete [non-permissible content removed] and stereotypical of the worst of car dealerships! |
