We bought our used GLS63 sight unseen and was better than described when we arrived! Our sales consultant, Collin Chakeres, went out of his way to ensure all of our questions and concerns were addressed and that we were completely comfortable with the vehicle prior to arrival. | Summary: This review is for Tyler Hills, Service manager. He was a gem, with excellent and timely communications with me as we navigated a challenge. I am a retired engineer and am a data person, getting a pre-trip inspection on my 2017 Sprinter 3500 based camper van. He was gracious enough to give me the added info recorded by the techs, such as the 7 mm of brake pad left, rather than just good, over 4mm on the multi point inspection report. And when the techs found a leak in the rear differential cover (likely caused by road debris impact) he was able to send me pics, and the estimate and got the part ordered and managed to get me on the road by Thursday afternoon! Tyler made what could have been a bad start to a 3 month road adventure much more pleasant than it might have been.
Back story: I had made an appointment for a Tuesday at 10 am for a pre-trip vehicle inspection for my Sprinter RV van. Tyler was completely up front with me about the fact that they were short 1 sprinter tech, and it would be Wednesday before it would be looked at. Not his fault, and I appreciated his honesty. He texted or called several times Wednesday, keeping me apprised of progress. And when the differential cover leak was found, he let me know quickly so the part could be ordered and delivered and installed Thursday. I will definitely ask for Tyler for my next service check!! |
